\"Davis<\/a>The weather station is a 5-sensor Davis Vantage Vue\u00a0connected to an Ubuntu Linux server running WeeWx<\/a> software. The weather data is transmitted to\u00a0APRS-IS<\/a> for use by NOAA’s MADIS<\/a> system as part of the Citizens Weather Observer Program<\/a>. The data is also sent to Weather Underground<\/a> and PWS Weather<\/a>. The station transmits over the local APRS amateur radio network on 144.39 MHz using a Kenwood TH-D7A(G)<\/a>\u00a0connected to a 3 element yagi pointed due south.<\/p>\n

Three Foscam cameras monitor the sky to the Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest of the station’s location.<\/p>\n
